Cucumber Ginger Agua Fresca

This CUCUMBER LIME AGUA FRESCA is so refreshing, tasty & easy to make it will be your favourite drink this summer!
Have you noticed that alcohol isn’t benefiting you lately? I have noticed my body tolerates it less as I age so I have been actively reducing my intake. For me, it’s been key to have a special (non-alcoholic) drink that I truly enjoy so I still have something to mark that moment, whether it’s the end of a long week or a celebration. So I have been on a mission to create delicious & satisfying mocktails that are almost as easy as pouring a glass of wine! This one takes a little bit more work but it still takes under 5 minutes & it’s worth it!
Let’s talk about what’s in this mocktail:
Ginger – Anti-inflammatory, antifungal (supports candida), promotes digestion, regular BMs & can help ease gas & cramps.
Lime Juice – Rich in antioxidants like vitamin C, supports our immune system & can reduce risk of kidney stone formation.
Mint – Improves bile flow (fat digestion), relaxing for our digestive tract & can help soothe gut distress.
Directions
Blend all ingredients except ¼ cup of water until very smooth.
Pour through a strainer, dividing it evenly between 2 rocks glasses filled with ice.
Top each with remaining water. Garnish with a mint sprig or lime wheel & enjoy!
